Water Supply Disruption in Atizapán de Zaragoza

On October 25, 11 municipalities in the State of Mexico will experience a suspension in the water supply due to necessary repairs in the Cutzamala System. The Water Commission of Edomex informed these localities about the detection of a leak in the distribution macro-circuit of this water storage system.

According to the Commission, the leak that requires repair is located in the area of Atizapán de Zaragoza. To carry out this repair, there will be a total suspension of the flow that is normally sent to the Bellavista tank and the Madín II water treatment plant.

The municipalities affected by this water suspension are Acolman, Atizapán de Zaragoza, Coacalco, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Ecatepec, Naucalpan, Nezahualcóyotl, Nicolás Romero, Tecámac, Tlalnepantla, and Tultitlán.

This interruption in the water service is a preventive measure to address the identified problem in the system promptly and effectively, ensuring that the residents of the affected municipalities have a quick restoration of water supply without severely impacting the daily distribution of this vital liquid.

The Water Commission of the State of Mexico has requested understanding from the citizens during this repair process and has assured that the necessary work will be done to restore the service as soon as possible.
